Privacy and data protection

We process personal data in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), and other applicable laws. When you use the Bistro operator panel, we may process: • Account data (name, email, password hash) for authentication and account management. • Session data via the bowl session cookie that keeps you signed in. • Restaurant and menu content you create or edit in the panel. • Invitation registration data when you accept an invite to join Bistro. • Technical logs and error reports to keep the service secure and reliable. • When you use address autocomplete, queries may be sent to Google Places; see Google's privacy policy for their processing. We do not sell personal data or use advertising cookies in the panel. Some infrastructure providers may process data on our behalf. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection by contacting us at the email above. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or with your local supervisory authority. If you are outside the EU/EEA, you may have additional rights under your local laws.

Cookies policy

The operator panel uses strictly necessary cookies only: • bowl, session cookie that keeps you signed in. • bowlabs_i18n_redirected, remembers your language preference when applicable. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies in the panel. Because these cookies are essential for the panel to work, no prior consent is required under Spanish LSSI-CE for this strictly necessary use. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to stay signed in.

Terms of use

Access to and use of the Bistro operator panel are subject to these terms. You agree to use the service lawfully, keep your credentials secure, and only manage restaurants you are authorised to operate. Bistro is currently offered as an early beta to a limited set of restaurant partners. There is no formal commercial contract or service-level agreement; availability and features may change without notice. You are responsible for the accuracy of menu content you publish through Bistro. Bowlabs provides the technology platform only. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Intellectual and industrial property

The Bistro platform, its software, design, and bowlabs branding are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights owned by bowlabs or its licensors. Content you upload remains yours or your restaurant's; you grant bowlabs the rights needed to host and display it through the service.

Disclaimers

The panel is provided "as is" during our pre-incorporation beta. We strive to keep the platform available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and there is no service-level agreement. Third-party services integrated into the panel (for example Google Places) are subject to their own terms and policies.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute relating to the Bistro platform shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer or data-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
